Foreigner Delivers High-Octane Finale in Reno

Playing to a packed, nearly sold-out crowd at the Silver Legacy Ballroom in Reno, Nevada, Foreigner proved that timeless classic rock anthems never fade, delivering an electric, high-octane performance for the final stop of their 50th Anniversary tour. The atmosphere inside the room was charged with anticipation long before the lights went down, as fans filled the venue to capacity for a night celebrating decades of arena-rock history.

While longtime fans felt the absent presence of founding guitarist Mick Jones—who remains off the road due to health concerns—the powerhouse lineup on stage ensured the band’s iconic catalog didn't miss a single beat. Fronting the band, Luis Maldonado stepped up on lead vocals, filling in for the departed Kelly Hansen and delivering an exceptional performance in stage leadership. Bringing tremendous energy, remarkable vocal control, and an infectious stage presence, Maldonado had the Reno crowd completely in the palm of his hand from the moment he stepped up to the microphone.
